Science & innovation
The UK undertakes world-class science. With just 1% of the world's population, the UK receives over 12% of citations to published papers, almost 13% of papers with the highest impact and receives 10% of internationally recognized prizes each year.
Science is an international endeavor, and in order for the UK to be successful, it needs to work with the best scientists in the world. In the US, the UK has created the Science and Innovation Network aimed at building strong scientific collaboration between the UK and US.
