Our offices are located at 1 Sansome Street, Suite 850 on the 8th Floor of the Citigroup Building at the corner of Sansome and Sutter Streets in the Financial District.

Public transportation

The Montgomery Street BART/MUNI Station is directly beneath our building. Several buses stop outside the Citicorp Building as well. Public transportation is the most efficient way to reach the British Consulate-General, San Francisco.
Driving and Parking Directions

By car

If driving, it is best to park at the Sutter/Stockton garage - directions as follows:

From the East Bay:
Cross Bay Bridge on I80 West (Toll $4)
Exit Fremont St
Turn left on Fremont St and cross Market to continue on Front St

From Front St to car park: (Sutter/Stockton Garage)
Take the first left onto Pine St and continue for 3 blocks
Turn left at Montgomery St and continue for 2 blocks
Turn right at Sutter and continue 3 blocks to Stockton
Stay in right hand lane and turn onto Stockton, entrance to Sutter/Stockton garage is on the right, immediately after turn.
(When you walk out of the car park, take the Sutter Street exit, turn left and walk 4 blocks down Sutter Street to our building - Citigroup Center at Sutter & Sansome).

From Front St to Consulate:
Take the first left onto Pine St and continue for 2 blocks
Turn left onto Sansome Street and continue to Citigroup Center at Sutter & Sansome
(There is limited metered street parking available)

From the South:
Either take 101 North or 280 North
If you take the 101 exit 280 (North) just after Monster park exit
Continue to the end of 280 (becomes King Street)
Go one block and turn left onto 3rd Street
Continue along 3rd Street until you reach Market Street
Cross over Market Street into Kearney Street

From Kearney to car park: (Sutter/Stockton Garage)
Turn left onto Sutter Street
Continue along Sutter for 2 blocks
Stay in right hand lane and turn onto Stockton, entrance to Sutter/Stockton garage is on the right, immediately after turn. (When you walk out of the car park, take the Sutter Street exit, turn left and walk 4 blocks down Sutter Street to our building - Citigroup Center at Sutter & Sansome)

From Kearney to Consulate:
Turn right onto Bush Street and continue for 2 blocks
Turn right onto Sansome Street
(There is limited metered street parking available)

From the North:
101 South cross Golden Gate Bridge (toll $5)
Lombard Street turns into Van Ness Avenue and continue for 14 blocks
Turn left onto Bush Street and continue for 11 blocks
Turn right into car park (Stockton-Sutter)
Take Sutter Street exit from car park, turn left and walk 4 blocks down Sutter Street to our building - Citigroup Center at Sutter & Sansome.
