Biography of Kevin Lynch
Kevin is a career diplomat who joined the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in 1978. He has served in a variety of overseas Posts including Brussels, 1981-1983; Dhaka (Bangladesh), 1984-1986; Dakar (Senegal) 1990-1993; Vilnius (Lithuania) 1994-1997; Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) 1997-2000 and Accra (Ghana) 2001-2004. His most recent Posting was as the Temporary Duty Consul General in Ekaterinburg (Russia) May –December 2006.
He succeeded Mark Stevens as British Consul in Denver in March 2007.
Married to Leone with two young children (10 and 11) with them in Denver.
Leisure interests include (now) armchair sports, chess, and politics and soon the family will enjoy the hiking and skiing offered by outdoor Colorado.
