The consular section deals with inquiries and provides assistance to British nationals in Colorado.   We are open to the public Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 1:00pm and by appointment. This office cannot answer questions about US immigraton or visas for entry into or residence in the United States, which are a matter for the US Government. Questions about US immigration should be directed to the US Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services which can be reached at 1 800 375 5283.

Visa information

Visa inquiries are handled by our outsource partner Worldbridge Information Services. Hours of operation: Monday through Friday, 0800 to 1700 EST.

1.) Customers from within the USA may call a permium rate number (900 656 5000) at a cost of US$3.00 per minute plus tax which will be charged to the user by their telephone provider.

2.) Customers may pay for the service with a credit or debit card with the Visa or Master Card logo using a secure, automated system by calling 1 212 759 5773. This option will cost the applicant US$12.00 flat rate fee regardless of the length of the call.

In addition, customers may access visa information using the WorldBridge Service website. Through this free site applicants can ask visa information questions by sending an e-mail inquiry which will be responded to within 1 to 3 business days.

Passport information

All passport inquiries should be made to the passport office at the British Embassy, Washington D.C. For application forms, fees and contact details please visit the passport section of this website.

If you have lost your passport we can issue you with an emergency travel document or advise you on how to obtain a full passport.
