Welcome to the British Consulate-General - Denver

The role of the Consulate-General is to strengthen and enhance the existing ties between the UK and Colorado, New Mexico and Wyoming. To do this, we will further develop and deepen our diplomatic and economic relationships throughout these states. We will also continue to maintain good relationships with state, city and local administrations. The Consulate-General will be building links between the UK and these states by working with a broad range of local organisations in the economic, academic, research, technology, educational and social fields. All of this work will support the UK government's Departmental Strategic Objectives.

The Consulate-General can only provide limited Consular services and advice to British citizens and members of the public. It does not issue passports (except in an emergency) or visas. The Consulate-General cannot answer any visa or passport related inquiries. Anyone with questions regarding visas or passports should visit the visa or passport section of this website.

Our Consulate-General in Chicago deals with UK Trade and Investment work in Colorado and New Mexico while Wyoming is handled by the Consulate-General in Los Angeles, but the Consulate-General can help with initial enquiries.
