Tehran: visa service re-opens for applications (October 21, 2009)
The visa service in Tehran will re-open to new applications on 26 October 2009
The visa application procedure in Tehran has not changed. The process for all applicants is:
- Make an online application. Any previous applications made online have now lapsed, so all applicants will need to make a new application.
- After submitting the online application, email: appointments.tehran@fco.gov.uk to request an appointment at the Embassy in Tehran to submit the necessary supporting documents, pay the fee and provide biometric data.
- Attend the Embassy at your scheduled appointment time to submit the necessary supporting documents, pay the fee and provide biometric data. You must provide an additional photocopy of each document you submit. Originals will be returned once your application is decided.
