UK Trade & Investment hosted leading UK interactive design companies (October 19, 2009)
Last week, UK Trade & Investment hosted the Interactive Development and Design Mission to the West Coast. The visiting group consisted of fourteen companies selected from approximately 50 applications in a competition run by UK Trade & Investment, in collaboration with Chinwag. The competition was held to identify leading, innovative small and medium-sized UK companies working in interactive design.
The group featured a cross-section of services including game design, user-interface design, digital development and digital marketing, with a focus on companies that work with entertainment and Web content. The companies were on the West Coast for a week to meet industry leaders, learn about the market, share best practices, and identify business opportunities.
In Los Angeles, the participants met with Warner Brothers, Sony, Lionsgate, The Ant Farm, International Creative Management, and Evite.com. The group then traveled to San Francisco for two days of meetings.
A list of participating companies can be found here.
