Lord Mayor touts UK's financial services in San Francisco and Silicon Valley (October 09, 2009)
The Lord Mayor of the City of London, Alderman Ian Luder, promoted the UK financial services industry in a visit to San Francisco and the Silicon Valley on 5 October. Accompanied by two representatives of the UK's financial services industry, Stephen Harris, of Tribal Group, and Euan McEwan, CEO Currie & Brown, the Lord Mayor met at City Hall with the City Treasurer and members of San Francisco's business community, and in the Silicon Valley with investment companies and venture capitalists. The visit was organised by UKTI and the San Francisco Consulate-General.
