The Rt Hon David Lammy MP, Minister for Higher Education and Intellectual Property, visited Seattle from 30 August to 1 September. He had calls on Microsoft, DigiPen and HITLabs, and is pictured here attending the opening of Esterline Control Systems' new facility. Esterline is a specialised manufacturing company, focusing on the aviation and defence industries. Its new facility will make control systems for aircraft. The Esterline Group has substantial interests in the UK, including Racal Acoustics.
