All of Washington DC is invited to come and visit our British Bazaar that will be showcasing Union Jacks Pub, Macallan Whisky, Beatles Rock Band, tanks, humvees, Britain's Olympic horse riding Gold Medalist Leslie Law, and our military members. And buy a specially designed British Embassy t-shirt, with profits going to the Azalea Charities Aid for Wounded Soldiers and the British Army Benevolent Fund America.
We will have face painting and card making for soldiers in Afghanistan for children too!
Tour the Ambassador's Residence Garden. See our orchid project, Organic Mechanic, and hear UK garden expert and award-winning author Andrea Wulf talk about the UK gardening craze. And meet the British Embassy Green and Climate Change teams, who can talk about their work.
We will also be showcasing: Northern Ireland, Wales, Scotland, Visit Britain, UKTI, Paxton International, British Airways, the British School of Washington, Rolls Royce, BMW's Electric Mini, Raytheon, British Council, and Visit Britain.
