Passports

Welcome to the Passport pages of the UK Passport Service for the Americas and Caribbean. 

Customers should allow 4 weeks (not including transit time) when making an application for a straightforward renewal of their passport through the UK Passport Service for the Americas and Caribbean.  All other types of applications (inc first time passports, lost or stolen, old blue passport) may take longer to process.

To help avoid any delays in processing your application please ensure your form is filled out correctly and all relevant document is enclosed.  Your passport photo must conform to the specified guidelines and be of a neutral expression with your mouth closed (no grinning, frowning, or raised eyebrows).  Applications received with anything other than this will be returned and the process will be delayed. 

Please advise your bank/credit card company that a payment will be taken from your account by this office.

The UK Passport Service for the Americas and Caribbean issues passports for British Citizens visiting or resident in the USA and the countries listed here.  All applications must be made through the UK Passport Service for the Americas and Caribbean, Washington.
