The role of the Consulate-General is to strengthen and enhance the existing ties between the UK and Colorado, New Mexico and Wyoming. To do this, we will further develop and deepen our diplomatic and economic relationships throughout these states. We will also continue to maintain good relationships with state, city and local administrations. The Consulate-General will be building links between the UK and these states by working with a broad range of local organisations in the economic, academic, research, technology, educational and social fields. All of this work will support the UK government's Departmental Strategic Objectives.
The Consulate-General can only provide limited Consular services and advice to British citizens and members of the public. It does not issue passports (except in an emergency) or visas.
